Our Very Existence Depends on Christianity
Here is today's Truth for Patriots with Founder Tom Evans...
“Sensible of the importance of Christian piety and virtue to the
order and happiness of the state… Manners, by which not only the
freedom but the very existence of the republics are greatly affected,
depend much upon the public institutions of religion”
These words are from Founding Father John Hancock, the very 1st Signer
of the Declaration of Independence. He like the other Founders knew that
the very existence of our Republic depended on morality via the public
institution of Christianity! Thus Natural Law was established & practiced,
bibles were purchased & distributed, and schools taught God’s
word.
As Patrick Henry once said …
“The great pillars of all government and of social life…[are] virtue, morality, and religion.”
