The Constitution Under Natural Law
Here is today's Truth for Patriots with Founder Tom Evans...
The Declaration of Independence is THE document that MAKES us a nation, declaring us under God’s “Natural law”. It can be considered our charter. It does not tell us HOW to run the nation - the Constitution does that. It can be considered our By-Laws. As in any organization with charter and by-laws, the two documents must agree with and compliment each other.
And so, the Constitution can only be applied with Truth & Accuracy when recognizing that we are CREATED by God, with God-given UNALIENABLE rights, and by invoking “the laws of nature and of nature’s God”, as given in the Declaration.
Our Founders understood that Liberty IS following God’s Laws. As Thomas Jefferson aptly put it, “The Bible is the cornerstone of liberty…”
