P. Henry – America Founded on Christ
Here is today's Truth for Patriots with Founder Tom Evans...
“It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ! For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.”
These words are from Founding Father Patrick Henry, Gov. of Virginia, member of Continental Congress, known for his “Give me liberty, or give me death!” speech, and largely responsible for the adoption of the bill of rights. Henry also said,
“The Bible is worth all other books which have ever been printed.”
Now, try to imagine Mr. Henry intending the removal of bibles from the
classroom as he helped adopt the 1st Amendment where “Separation
of Church and State” supposedly comes from! Don’t believe the
lie of separation.
