Not only did our Founding Father’s repeatedly proclaim Christianity as foundational to our republic, so have our Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary ….
Consider the following from the 1824 PA Supreme Court…
“…Religion and morality…are the foundations of all governments.
Without these restraints no free government could long exist.”
And this from an 1854 House Judiciary Committee report…
“[Religion] must be considered as the foundation on which the whole
structure rests… there can be no substitute for Christianity”
And this from the 1892 Supreme Court…
“…The happiness of a people and the good order and preservation
of civil government essentially depend upon religion and morality…”
And lastly from President Calvin Coolidge…
“The foundations of … our government rest …on the teachings
of the Bible”
