Truth is Freedom
Here is today's Truth for Patriots, with founder Tom Evans…
"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32
TRUTH is the basis for freedom. Our founding fathers knew this well, and so they looked to the God of the Bible to establish a free nation. By some estimates, over 94% of our founding documents are derived from the Bible!
Some today would define "freedom" as a ticket to do or say whatever we want. But to our founders, freedom was a ticket to do and speak rightly, according to God's principles, without fear of threat or penalty for doing right. Now let me ask, do you feel threatened to speak out against homosexuality in our society or evolution in our schools?
As Founding Father Noah Webster said, "… the Christian religion must be the basis of any government intended to secure the rights and privileges of a free people."
