G. Washington: God and the Bible
Here is today's Truth for Patriots, with founder Tom Evans…
"Without a humble imitation of the characteristics of the Divine
Author of OUR blessed religion…we can never hope to be a happy nation."
These words are from the greatest American Patriot, George Washington. Notice his reference to OUR religion - because in those days it was very well understood that Christianity was America's religion, our heritage, and our foundation.
Washington also said, "It is impossible to rightly govern…without God and the Bible."
It is overwhelmingly apparent from numerous statements by our founders, court documents, and historical records that America is a Union of God and State, not a separation as some would have you believe!
Our founders looked to the Almighty God of the Bible to intervene for our freedom, establish us as a nation, give us our laws, and to provide liberty, happiness, and prosperity.
