School Prayer Ban – 1962
Here is today’s Truth for Patriots, with founder Tom Evans…
“Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence upon Thee, and we beg Thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers, and our country”
This was the prayer at issue in the famous 1962 US Supreme Court case, “Engel vs. Vitale,” that resulted in the banning of prayer in public schools, declaring it unconstitutional.
Not only that, the court went on to accuse our Founders of repeatedly violating the very constitution they wrote. The court said, “…that prayer seems relatively insignificant when compared to the governmental encroachments which were commonplace 200 years ago.”
This ruling overturned America’s School history and set this country on a steep moral decline.
